Guide to Warwick Real Estate

The Warwick School District is located in Lititz and serves Elizabeth Township, Warwick Township, and Lititz Borough. It has six schools, which include Warwick High School, Warwick Middle School, John Beck Elementary School, John Bonfield Elementary School, Kissel Hill Elementary School and Lititz Elementary School.

Lititz, which is nestled about six miles north from the City of Lancaster, is a picturesque small town with tree-lined streets featuring unique shops, restaurants and museums that compliment the 250 year old heritage and architecture. Many 18th Century town buildings have been wonderfully restored and can be enjoyed as you walk through town. You may even notice the smell of chocolate and pretzels lingering in the air. Lititz is home to Wilbur Chocolate Company. The manufacturing plant is located directly above the old-fashioned candy store and museum. The Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery, established in 1861, was the first commercial pretzel bakery in America. The bakery is still operated by the Sturgis family, and you can tour the bakery and store which have been newly renovated.

Other highlights in downtown Lititz include the Downtown Lititz Farmers Market. The market is open every Saturday morning and features a full variety of locally produced products sold by the farmers in a festive setting complete with live music, children’s activities and more. Another event you won’t want to miss is the Old Fashioned 4th of July celebration held at Lititz Springs Park. Other parks in the Warwick School District include Elizabeth Township Community Park, PA State Game Lands, Lancaster County Park, Linear Park, Lions Park, Pumping Station and Speedwell Forge Lake., and the mile long macadam Lititz/Warwick Trailway which is for walking, biking and rollerblading.
