Penn Manor School District is one of the largest school districts in Lancaster County with a student population of approximately 5,400. The district spans over 100 rural square miles to the east of the Susquehanna River. Penn Manor School District encompasses five political entities: Millersville Borough, and Conestoga, Manor, Martic and Pequea townships with a community population of approximately 32,000. Popular areas include Central Manor, Creswell, Fairview Park, Garden Hills, Highville, Letort, Manor Ridge, Millersville, Washington, West Ridge, West Lancaster and Windom.
The Penn Manor area has some notable features. The High School is nestled in Millersville Borough beside the campus of Millersville University. The University enjoys a tranquil campus that features a pleasing mix of historic buildings and modern structures. Millersville University has a great reputation, competitive programs, and a diverse student community. The corporate headquarters of both Armstrong World Industries and Turkey Hill Dairy are located within Penn Manor School District’s boundaries. Plus Manor Township takes great pride in it’s maintenance, development, and acquisition of parks, greenways and open space. A few local parks are Creswell, Greider, John G. Herr, Manor Township Community and Woods Edge parks.
