Columbia Borough is situated in Eastern Lancaster County, bordering the Susquehanna River. It is the largest borough along the river between Harrisburg and the mouth of the river at the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. Columbia is located approximately ten miles west of Lancaster City. US Route 30 and PA Routes 441 and 462 provide easy access to York and Harrisburg. A quick trip across the Wrights Ferry Bridge and the Veterans Memorial Bridge take you into York County.
Columbia residents and visitors are treated to activities such as the Antique Car Show, Antique Art and Craft Show, Bridge Run, Bridge Bust, Fireworks and several parades. These activities, along with Columbia’s Antique shops, Market, bed and breakfasts, Museums, including the National Watch and Clock Museum, and fine dining establishments make Columbia a great place to live and visit.
