It’s hard to believe we are already approaching Fourth of July weekend! Here’s a list of just a few of the things happening in the area this weekend:
First Friday in Downtown Lancaster: Friday, July 1st from 5-9 pm.  Head to downtown Lancaster Friday evening to enjoy delicious food, browse the art galleries, see performing groups and hear live music, plus stop in to the local shops.
Continuous 4th of July Celebration: Saturday, July 2nd in Lititz Springs Park. Entertainment all day including baby parade, Queen of Candles pageant and games of skill, plus high-tech fireworks with synchronized sound to begin at 9:55 pm.
42nd Annual Independence Day Weekend: Taking place at Buck Motorsports Park in Quarryville on Saturday, July 2nd. Demolition derby along with a spectacular fireworks display!
Mountville Fireworks: Happening on Saturday, July 2nd at Froelich Park in Mountville. Fireworks begin at 9:30 pm.
Pop-in for Play: Chalk Walk: Sunday, July 3rd at Hands on House from 2-4 pm. Designed for children 2-10 and adults to experience together, stop by and enjoy some fun outdoor chalk time!
US Army Band, Cannon Brigade, and Fireworks: Sunday, July 3rd at Long’s Park. Food vendors and free concert beginning at 7:30 pm followed by fireworks.
Lancaster Barnstormers Home Game: Monday, July 4th the Lancaster Barnstormers play the Long Island Ducks. Game will be followed by a “Red, White, and BOOM” fireworks display. Special baseball caps will be given away to some visitors as well.
