Upcoming Events: Easter Edition

It’s hard to believe Easter is already upon us! We are lucky to live in a community that offers lots of ways to celebrate Easter. We’ve compiled a list of a few things going on in the area, if you’re looking for something to do this weekend.eaastr-12

  • Natural Egg Dying at Lancaster County Park. Happening March 24 from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Lancaster County Park Environmental Center, located at 1 Nature’s Way in Lancaster. Naturalist Lisa Sanchez teaches how to dye eggs with natural elements. Bring along your own hard boiled eggs for this fun event. Must register by noon on March 23rd by calling 717-295-2055.
  • Easter Bunny Train at Strasburg Railroad. Locals and tourists alike love Strasburg Railroad! The Easter Bunny train runs March 25-27. Folks riding the train will be visited by the Easter Bunny during their ride. There will also be photo opportunities and treats for the children.   • Wagon Rides to Bunny Village at the Country Barn. On March 25 and 26 from 10 am – 4 pm the East Bunny will be visiting the Country Barn and offering lots of Easter activities: breakfast buffet, baby animals, barnyard activities, pictures and more! Located at 211 S. Donnerville Road, Lancaster PA 17603.
  • Easter Egg Hunt. Crossroads Church located at 800 Donegal Springs Road, Mt. Joy is offering a Sunday morning Easter Egg hunt. From 9-11 am on March 27, children from 0-11 will be able to search for Easter eggs and enjoy interactive stations after the hunt.
