Position: Buyer’s Agent
Start Date with the Team:Â July 15, 2015
Background:Â Born and raised in New Jersey, outside of Princeton and relocated to Lancaster in 1996. I graduated from Millersville with a BA in Philosophy, Psychology, and a minor in Biology. Before real estate, I worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative. I live in Lancaster City with my wife, Diana.
Personal hobbies/interests:Â Hobbies include guitar, basketball, dining, cooking, and local travel. Interests include music, neurobiology, food, and real estate.
Fun/unusual thing about you:Â I played guitar in a metal band with a small record contract and bought my own CD at the mall so I could save the receipt.
Why Real Estate? Why The Craig Hartranft Team? I found myself in a sales position following college that focused too much on the product and not the customer. I knew a career in real estate would be challenging and stimulating and allow me to focus my efforts on the customer, putting their interests first. The Craig Hartranft Team was a perfect fit because of their track record of outstanding customer service, combined experience of many successful agents, and world class training.
Favorite thing about working in Real Estate:Â Meeting and talking to new people every day and helping them achieve their goals.
Craziest thing that’s happened to you while working in real estate:Â I was showing a property when I heard water running upstairs, I yelled, only to find out the seller forgot we were coming and was in the shower.
What one piece of advice would you give to someone looking to buy a home? If you are looking to purchase a home, find a buyers agent you can trust to represent you. There is so much to know about buying a home and every transaction is different. Some home buyers think they can go online, learn the process and fend for themselves. The truth is, a good buyers agent is invaluable to the home buyer. They will save you money, time, and frustration.
Who/what has had the biggest impact on your life? My grandmother, my mom, my wife. The three women most important in my life are responsible for everything I have become. My grandmother taught me to love learning and to be curious. My mother taught me to love people and be optimistic. My wife taught me how to reach for my goals and be ambitious. I am a lucky guy.
