Ashley Corbett
Start Date with the Team:Â February 2016
Background: I was born in Washington, DC and raised in Frederick, MD. Attended High School in the Greater Philadelphia Area and College at Millersville University, where I held three jobs, danced for three dance organizations and had the time of my life. I was then in the Social Work and Trauma Counseling field for six years before I transitioned into the Real Estate Business. I still enjoy volunteering locally with the YWCA Lancaster and Penn Square Rotary Club. I live in the Cabbage Hill Neighborhood in Lancaster City, with my Fiancé. We will get married in Zion National Park in June!
Personal hobbies/interests:Â Eating, dancing, traveling and helping people buy homes.
Fun/unusual thing about you: The items on my bucket list are probably unusual, I believe in trying (almost) everything at least one time.
Why Real Estate? Why The Craig Hartranft Team? I craved work that was challenging, limitless and still allowed me to make an impact in peoples’ lives. To reach my Real Estate goals, I needed to surround myself with other hard working, innovative people; The team was a natural fit.
Favorite thing about working in Real Estate: Being Helpful! Buying a home is a huge undertaking; I love teaching clients about the process and advocating for them every step! Plus, it’s fun to match people with homes that enable their desired lifestyle.
Favorite thing about being a part of The Craig Hartranft Team:Â Our team members! There are high-quality people on this team and we all share common values, ambitions and struggles. Watching this team reinvent itself and find new ways to crush goals every month is amazing! Â
What one piece of advice would you give to someone looking to buy a home?  Be ready to strike! In this market it’s important to know your purchasing power, comfort zone and boundaries before you’re out looking at homes. You have to be one step ahead of other buyers. Don’t be afraid to ask questions! My goal is that you feel informed and well prepared for the process.
Who/what has had the biggest impact on your life?  My father. Everyday, he emphasized loyalty, hard work and grit. He made my sister and I believe that we could do or be anything. He encouraged us to play by the rules but to always question the status quo and be tenacious in the pursuit of our learning and goals. He died suddenly when I was in college but he is still the voice in my head at the end of each day, asking me if I did my best.
