Lancaster County Real Estate Market Update
It’s time for our monthly market update. If you’ve been following along with our blog or social media, you won’t be surprised to hear that the Lancaster County real estate market remains very competitive. It’s a wonderful time to be a home seller, with many homes receiving multiple offers, selling above asking price, and often selling in just a few days.
For buyers, while interest rates remain low, the current nature of the market means that buyers are finding themselves competing with several other offers when they make an offer on a home.
The March statistics we’re sharing do show a bump in homes listed for sale in March. A significant increase from last March is no surprise, given that March of 2020 was the beginning of the COVID-19 shutdown.
Median sales price and homes sold are also up over March of 2020.
