Today we’re taking a look at the Lancaster County real estate market comparing December of 2020 to December of 2019. Trends continued in December similarly to the other months of 2020, seeing a rise in average sales price and a decline in days on market and decline in average interest rate.
The average sales price came in at $266,588, up nearly 10% over December 2019. Days on market dropped to just 7 days, meaning most homes are selling within just a week of listing; this is down 66% from December of last year.
