    How Do I See a Home if I’m a Buyer?

    Real estate is currently on Pennsylvania’s non-essential business list, meaning that in-person activities are prohibited. There are many nuances to the current restrictions, and stipulations are changing weekly. Although in-person activities aren’t happening, homes are still selling.

    If you’re looking to buy a home, you’re likely wondering how you can even see a property to choose to buy. There are several ways:

    • Photography and video are being used even more primarily than ever. Listings for sale have multiple photos, often professional quality, and various types of virtual tours available.
    • Virtual Showings and Open Houses. Sellers are hosting virtual showings and open houses with a various forms of technology, including FaceTime, Zoom, Facebook Messenger, and Google Hangouts.

    Certainly, anyone who is looking to purchase a home during this unprecedented time must make decisions based on what they are most comfortable with and what is best for themselves and their families.  However, there are certainly creative ways to see homes until we are able to show them to you in person again!
