‘Tis the season to enjoy some holiday cheer! Many holiday celebrations have been cancelled or have changed due to safety regulations. As with many 2020 celebrations, this year’s local holiday events that haven’t been cancelled, have largely moved outdoors and with social distancing – which makes this year great for holiday light shows!
If you’re looking for some holiday cheer, we’ve got a list of a few holiday light displays in Lancaster and the surrounding areas that you can check out!
Christmas Spirit Light Show at Clipper Stadium – Clipper Stadium presents a drive-through holiday light show open seven days a week. The drive is about a mile long, takes about 20 minutes, and costs range from $20-30/car. Visit their website for more details.
Messick’s Christmas Light Show – A Lancaster County favorite, Messick’s is back with their annual light show. This synchronized show happens nightly from 6-9:30 pm every 15-20 minutes. Donations for local families in need are accepted upon admission.
Stone Gables Estates and the Star Barn – Elizabethtown’s Stone Gable Estates, home of the well-known Star Barn, features a drive-through holiday light show and a Santa Express train ride. Visit their site for hours and ticket prices.
Dutch Wonderland Holiday Lights – Old Mill Stream Campground next to Dutch Wonderland has been decked out with holiday lights for a drive-through display perfect for your family. The Dutch Wonderland castle is also open for holiday shopping.
Hershey Sweet Lights & Christmas Candy Lane– HersheyPark is open for their annual Christmas Candy Lane where the park is chock full of lights and select rides are open. Hershey also offers a drive-through holiday light show called Sweet Lights
Christmas Magic at Rocky Ridge Park – Head over the river to York County’s Rocky Ridge Park for a walk-through light display. Timed tickets are being sold this year to limit the number of attendees, so be sure to visit the site to purchase your tickets.
