    Grants for Home-buyer Assistance


    Buying a home is a huge financial undertaking. For many people, the idea of having enough money saved to purchase a home can be daunting. Although there are many misconceptions about how much money you truly need to buy a home, there are also sometimes extra programs to assist buyers with financing. Our Team has a relationship with a local lender who is currently offering grants for down payment assistance or closing cost help to certain home buyers. Here are some details:



    • First time home-buyers: Get up to $5,000 assistance. Grant matches $4 for every $1 contributed.
    • Community partners: Law enforcement officers, educators, firefighters, first responders, and healthcare workers can get up to $7,500.¬†Grant matches $4 for every $1 contributed.
    • VA purchase: For active duty or veteran military obtaining a VA loan, can get assistance up to $7,500.
    • Returning Veterans Purchase: Active duty, veterans, reservists, or surviving spouses for military who have served in an overseas intervention. Up to $10,000 grant money is available based on military entitlement.
