Valentine’s Day is just two days away and Lancaster County is ready to fulfill all of your chocolate needs this Valentine’s Day. Check out these spots for some amazing Lancaster County candy for your Valentine… or to treat yourself (we won’t tell)!
Lancaster Sweet Shoppe – located in downtown Lancaster, Lancaster Sweet Shoppe has a large – and delicious – selection of chocolates for you to choose from. If chocolates aren’t your thing, check out their fresh-made stroopies! Can’t be beat.
Miesses Candy – a locally owned shop that was started here in Lancaster over 140 years ago and remains a Lancaster favorite. Stop by their shop on Water Street in downtown Lancaster, hit up their stand at Central Market, or their store in Overlook Town Center off Fruitville Pike for all of your Valentine’s chocolate needs.
Wilbur Chocolate – we can’t talk about local chocolates without mentioning the famous Lititz-based Wilbur chocolate. Although the iconic factory is no longer making their chocolates, there is still a retail store located on Broad Street in Lititz. Stop in a pick up some of your favorites… we’ll take some dark-chocolate Wilbur buds while you’re at it!
Lancaster Cupcake – okay, they don’t sell traditional chocolates, but who doesn’t love a cupcake? Selling Valentine’s themed cupcakes, you can stop by one of their locations downtown on Orange Street, at Park City Mall, or on Main Street in Mountville. Special orders – including Unicorn Valentines – available on their website, but must be placed by TODAY!
