This year has flown by for us and we’d bet you’re feeling the same way. It’s hard to believe that Fall is officially upon us, and not just because of the warm temperatures! This weekend we’ll likely be faced with cooler weather which often inspires us to get out and find some autumn adventures. Here’s a list of just a few things happening around the area over the next few weeks to help make the most of fall:
Cherry Hill Orchards – pick your own apples, or purchase from their farmers market, including pumpkins, mums, produce and more!Â
Dutch Wonderland – our local amusement park is still open on weekends! From October 14-29 Dutch Wonderland is decked out for Happy Hauntings – kids are welcome to come dressed in costume and will enjoy extra exciting decor and events throughout the park.
Cherry Crest Adventure Farm – features a large corn maze, petting zoo, and an abundance of fall themed activities for the whole family.
Oregon Dairy – every weekend in October Oregon Dairy is open for pumpkin picking, pumpkin chucking, and a variety of extra activities for the kids.
Lancaster Ghost Tours – different tour options both in Lancaster and in Strasburg, this is a fun option for those who enjoy the spookier side of the season.
We would love to see photos of all of your local fall fun activities, whether it’s from the list above or not. Feel free to head over to our Facebook page and share your outings with us.
